Every RGB project runs the same five stages, from first consultation through to handover.
Building here is not the same as building anywhere else in Sydney. Sloping blocks, narrow access, coastal exposure and council requirements all shape what gets built and how. We work in one part of the city and we know it well, from the approvals through to the conditions that affect materials, detailing and program.
We build homes designed around how people actually live, with close attention to intelligent layouts, the connection between inside and out, and the spaces that get used every day. A recent example is Illalong Ave in Balgowlah Heights, a substantial five-bedroom family home built in masonry, structural steel and lightweight construction, with extensive glazing connecting the living areas to the landscaped gardens and surrounding bushland. The home is finished in natural stone, timber and polished concrete, with bespoke joinery and a designer kitchen with a butler's pantry.
We also take on knock-down rebuilds, managed from demolition and site preparation through to handover.
RGB purposely takes on a focused number of projects at any one time. That's a deliberate choice, and it keeps Richard hands-on across every build as both the lead builder and the on-site manager. You deal directly with the person running your project, so decisions are made quickly and you're never chasing an update or waiting on an answer from someone who wasn't on site.
If something unexpected comes up, and on a new build something usually does, you'll hear about it straight away, along with a clear recommendation and what it means for cost and program.

We are used to working as part of a wider team. For architects and designers, that means a builder who reads drawings properly, raises buildability and coordination issues early while there is still time to adjust, and protects the design intent through to completion. Where a detail carries cost or program risk, we say so early and bring options rather than stripping the design back on site.

We coordinate design input for buildability and cost, and manage the approvals process so the project is properly prepared before work begins.

Detailed, honest pricing with a realistic program. Scope, staging and trades are all confirmed before work begins.
04 Construction & Project Management
Hands-on site management and a trusted network of trades. Quality control and regular, clear communication run through the whole build.
05 Completion & Handover
Every detail is checked and every finish reviewed before we hand over a home that is ready to live in, with guidance and support at completion.
